TT began supporting this feature starting July 1, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>TT Impact<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This change applies to the&nbsp; Basis, Block, Cross, and Asset Allocation trade types in ICE and ICE_L. For&nbsp; trades placed manually via the front end Blocktrader widget, TT will send 1028=Y to ICE. No user action is required. The ability for FIX clients and .NET SDK clients to override Tag 1028 will be introduced in UAT in September. Until then and if not specified, the default 1028=Y (manual) will apply to orders placed by FIX and .NET SDK clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ICE is also mandating that Manual Order Indicator (tag 1028) be set in regular orders as well, and TT is already handling this requirement as follows:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For manually placed orders via the front end such as Limit (Tag 40=2), Market (Tag 40=1), Stop Limit (Tag 40=4), and Stop Market (Tag 40=3), TT will assign 1028=Y.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For the orders placed via the front end, but internally managed by the Automated trading server or Algo, TT will set 1028=N. This includes <a href=\"https:\/\/library.tradingtechnologies.com\/trade\/as-introduction-to-autospreader.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Autospreader<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/library.tradingtechnologies.com\/trade\/agg-aggregator-overview.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Aggregator<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/library.tradingtechnologies.com\/trade\/index.html#tt-algo-trading\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ADL Algo Trading<\/a>, TT synthetic order types, and TT premium order types.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>FIX clients and .NET SDK clients can override Tag 1028. Support for CME iLink 2.0 will end after this date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Summary:<\/strong> CME has introduced support for iLink3 on Convenience Gateways (CGW) for trading Futures and Options on CME Globex. CME will decommission CGW iLink2 on Jan 31, 2025 however, all customers must migrate by December 31 of this year to avoid penalties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Convenience Gateway Migration from iLink 2.0 to iLink 3.0:<\/strong> Customers familiar with the MSGW iLink3 upgrade that occurred in 2019 will find the CGW iLink upgrade familiar. The steps for migrating are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Coordinate with CME to apply for an iLink3 Convenience Gateway Session.\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>When applying for a new iLink3 Session, Members should specify TT frontend name \u201cTT CME iLink3 CGW\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For each iLink Session, create <strong>NEW<\/strong> Connections in Setup\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be sure to use a Session ID created by CME <strong>specifically for iLink3<\/strong> (see #1 above).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be sure to set the <strong>Connection Type<\/strong> to \u201cConvenience Gateway iLink3.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>PLEASE NOTE<\/em>: Modifying an existing connection\u2019s \u201cType\u201d (for example, changing a connection from \u201cConvenience Gateway\u201d to \u201cConvenience Gateway iLink3\u201d is not supported. Customers affected by this are requested to contact their onboarding representatives for any required changes in TTUS configuration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the Friday before this Go-Live (i.e. on September 6):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The evening trading session for the Index Futures on Amsterdam and Paris markets will not take place.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On Friday, September 6, after Market Closure, Euronext will cancel all resting orders on the Financial Derivatives Markets.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Euronext deactivates any spreads that don\u2019t have any active GTC\/GTD orders temporarily, and again reactivates them before start of trading. Accordingly, these will get deactivated on TT, and will get added back once Euronext adds them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There will not be any impact on the Commodity Derivatives and IDEM markets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NOTE:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>TT strongly recommends customers to carry out front to back testing with Euronext Clearing from the TT UAT environment to ensure there are no unforeseen issues due to this clearing migration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>TT recommends that customers cancel their active GTC \/ GTD orders in the FInancial Derivatives market in the production environment before close of trading on 6 September and not rely on the exchange\u2019s order purging to avoid any stale orders on TT.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Since the Euronext API connectivity is not impacted by this clearing migration, there is no corresponding TT upgrade \/ release for this.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Additional Resources<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/connect.euronext.com\/sites\/default\/files\/2024-07\/IF240716DE%20Euronext%20Clearing%20Migration%20-%20Go-Live%20Date%20for%20Financial%20Derivatives.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Euronext Clearing Migration Go Live Details<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"cme-change-to-e-mini-s-p-options-user-defined-spreads-market-data-channel-%e2%80%93-resting-orders-elimination\"><\/span><strong>CME: Change to E-mini S&amp;P Options User Defined Spreads Market Data Channel &#8211; Resting Orders Elimination<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>September 22<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>TT has received the following communication from the CME:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Effective Sunday, September 22 (trade date Monday, September 23), E-mini S&amp;P options User Defined Spreads (UDS) (tag 1151-SecurityGroup=1V) will move from <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/click.the.cmegroup.com\/?qs=7d51a0906928b9bbc94d8ff08785e8e22f996dfa9d9f7fd4f107080b609fc5ab8adaaefb9f96886361cfae8a3e626f90b13893b45f9abd16\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Market Data Platform (MDP) 3 Channel<\/em><\/a><em> 311 to 323 to better load balance across the MDP 3 channels.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>To facilitate this change, customers are asked to cancel all Good &#8216;Till Cancel (GTC) and Good &#8216;Till Date (GTD) orders on E-mini S&amp;P options UDS after the close on <\/em><strong><em>Friday, September 20<\/em><\/strong><em>. After 16:00 CT on Friday, September 20, all remaining GT orders for these User Defined Spreads will be canceled or deleted by the CME Global Command Center (GCC).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>GT orders on the E-mini S&amp;P 500 option outrights are not affected by this change.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"tfex-order-entry-gateway-rebalance\"><\/span><strong>TFEX: Order Entry Gateway Rebalance<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>October 5<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>TFEX has announced an Order Entry Gateway Rebalance for Q4 2024. Prior to the Rebalance Process, all members using a TFEX User Login that requires a gateway change will receive an email from the exchange. The email will contain information about the ID slated for rebalancing, an attendance confirmation survey, the test schedule and the test script.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For all IDs that require a rebalance, the Primary IP and Port as well as the Secondary IP and Port must be updated to match the configuration specified in the exchange email. This update must be completed in TT under Setup&nbsp; \u2192 Connections. Members who receive such an email are requested to <strong>contact TT Onboarding or Service Management<\/strong> to discuss plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On October 5, 2024 TFEX is conducting a connectivity test that is mandatory for all Members required to complete a rebalance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"jpx-change-of-derivatives-market-trading-hours\"><\/span><strong>JPX: Change of Derivatives Market Trading Hours<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>November 5<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>JPX has announced that starting from November 5, 2024 there will be a change of trading hours for the Exchange Derivatives Market due to extension of trading hours at TSE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Support for the trading hours change is <strong>now available for testing<\/strong> in UAT. The details and schedule of these tests will be as &#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>31 Aug is reserved for internal TT testing in order to ensure TT systems are able to connect to FMX in the production environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From 2 Sep to 6 Sep, customers can enter orders and participate in these dress rehearsal tests. Please note that FMX will support only order entry during the dress rehearsal, and will not support order matching even if the orders cross the available market.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The trading session will follow the regular session times of 9 PM to 5 PM ET (trading session will open on Sunday, 1 Sep at 9 PM ET).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Test instruments will be made available by FMX, and customers will need to use the test credentials, that will be shared by FMX, for configuring their FMX order connections on TT for these dress rehearsal tests.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The three fixes that are planned for TT UAT deployment on 30 Aug will not be included in this dress rehearsal. These will be deployed to production on 7 Sep.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"gfo-x-new-market-for-cryptocurrency-derivatives\"><\/span><strong>GFO-X: New Market for Cryptocurrency Derivatives<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>September 27&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>TT will support the GFO-X exchange, the UK&#8217;s first regulated and centrally cleared trading venue dedicated to digital asset derivatives, on launch in Q3 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GFO-X&nbsp; is now available in the TT UAT environment, and interested customers can reach out to their Onboarding representative for assistance in getting connected to GFO-X.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Further information will be provided in upcoming notices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"new-products\"><\/span><strong>New Products<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Please Note: <\/em><\/strong><em>Trading Technologies\u2019 default approach is to support every new product listed, on the products&#8217; first day of trading, for all markets available on the TT trading platform. If a new product listing receives high-profile attention or is of significant industry importance, TT may announce support for it below.
