<\/span>HKEX: New Product Additions – MSCI Asia and Emerging Market Index Futures and Options <\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
July-Q4 2020<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

HKEX will be adding MSCI Asia and Emerging Market Index futures and options in phases. Final dates have not been provided. Phase 1b batch 2 will be launched on August 17, with the exception of MSG, MJP and MJJ, launch date TBD. Tentative launch for Phase 1c is Q4 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

<\/strong>To trade these products, apply an updated pMerge file<\/a> to all HKEX Gateways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Copy the HKEX.pmg file to <drive letter>:\\tt\\config<\/strong>.<\/li>
  2. Stop GuardServer.<\/li>
  3. Navigate to <drive letter>:\\tt\\bin<\/strong>.<\/li>
  4. Double-click pMerge.exe<\/strong>. The Enter Exchange Name<\/strong> window appears.<\/li>
  5. Specify the exchange name and flavor and click OK<\/strong>. The Open Guardian product table merge file<\/strong> window appears.<\/li>
  6. Navigate to <drive letter>:\\tt\\config<\/strong> and select the HKEX.pmg<\/strong> file. pMerge will update the existing Guardian Product Table with the correct values. After pMerge completes its tasks, the pMerge status bar displays Finished<\/em>.<\/li>
  7. Close the pMerge status bar.<\/li>
  8. Start GuardServer.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The above listed steps need to be repeated for each HKEX Gateway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    After pMerge runs, verify that the Guardian Product Table contains the following values:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    <\/span>CFE: New Product Additions – Mini VIX Futures<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
    August 9<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

    CFE will launch trading in Mini Cboe Volatility Index (VXM) futures on Sunday, August 9 for business date Monday, August 10. VXM futures are cash-settled futures on the Cboe Volatility Index (VIX Index) having one-tenth of the contract size of Cboe Volatility Index (VX) futures and a $100 contract multiplier. Trade at Settlement (TAS) transactions will be permitted in VXM futures under the ticker symbol VXMT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      JSE is planning an exchange release during the weekend of August 24 consisting of several API enhancements as well as broader platform functional enhancements. We participated in the Market Facing Dress Rehearsal that was completed on July 11.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      <\/span>SGX: Industry-Wide Business Continuity Planning Exercise [UPDATE]<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

      SGX will conduct its annual industry-wide exercise to validate its ability to recover and operate the market in the event of a data center failover scenario and to test its crisis communication capabilities. Further details will be announced in upcoming weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Customers who will be participating must provide your TAM\/Customer Success representative with the DR IP\/port that the exchange has assigned. This IP should start with 10.1.35. Customers will not be able to connect for this test if this information is not provided to TT prior to the test.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The Futures Industry Association will sponsor its annual industry-wide disaster recovery testing on October 24. We will facilitate customer participation for registered TT platform customers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
