{"id":93523,"date":"2021-10-22T12:15:15","date_gmt":"2021-10-22T17:15:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tradingtechno3.wpenginepowered.com\/?post_type=support&#038;p=93523"},"modified":"2021-10-22T12:15:16","modified_gmt":"2021-10-22T17:15:16","slug":"fix-maturitymonthyear-changes-for-ice-fia-industry-wide-testing-and-more-2","status":"publish","type":"support","link":"https:\/\/tradingtechnologies.com\/support-updates\/fix-maturitymonthyear-changes-for-ice-fia-industry-wide-testing-and-more-2\/","title":{"rendered":"FIX: MaturityMonthYear Changes for ICE, FIA: Industry-Wide Testing, and More"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"fix-maturitymonthyear-changes-for-ice\"><\/span><strong>FIX: MaturityMonthYear Changes for ICE<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>New Date: October 29<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Following up on our original announcement from August 26, TT continues to make changes to our Security Master database (PDS) to synchronize the month and year values displayed in the TT Trading GUI (PDS Alias field) with TT FIX tags 200, MaturityMonthYear, and 610, LegMaturityMonthYear values for all FIX order routing, drop copy, market data and security definition messages.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ICE Market supports this feature now in UAT, with production support scheduled for October 29, 2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PDS has introduced a new field, ContractDisplayDate, (CDD), which will contain the month &amp; year values from the Alias field. PDS will be rolling out this change market-by-market. JPX, TOCOM and OSE markets currently support the new value in production. Support for PDS CDD in additional markets will be announced in future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In TT FIX v158 &amp; higher, when the PDS CDD field is present on an instrument, TT FIX will map CDD to tags 200 &amp; 610 on all relevant inbound &amp; outbound messages. When CDD is not present, the existing mapping to PDS Maturity Date will continue as currently implemented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>TT Platform Impact<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Customers trading <strong>ICE <\/strong>contracts via FIX are strongly encouraged to test their applications in UAT prior to the <strong>October 29<\/strong> rollout date to ensure integration with the new behavior. Contracts listed in PDS under <strong>ICE_L<\/strong> market will <strong>not<\/strong> be impacted. Please reach out to your TT Customer Representative or email <a href=\"mailto:fixintegration@trade.tt\">fixintegration@trade.tt<\/a> with any questions or concerns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"fia-industry-wide-testing\"><\/span><strong>FIA: Industry-Wide Testing<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>October 23<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>The Futures Industry Association will sponsor its annual Industry-Wide Disaster Recovery Testing (IWT) on Saturday, October 23. We will facilitate customer participation for registered TT platform customers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Testing is available on the following exchanges:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>CFE&nbsp;<\/li><li>CME&nbsp;<\/li><li>Eurex&nbsp;<\/li><li>Euronext<\/li><li>ICE&nbsp;<\/li><li>Montr\u00e9al Exchange<\/li><li>Nodal<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Customers who plan to participate in the FIA IWT should contact their Onboarding Manager to register for testing and provide exchanges that will be tested along with Connection_IDs that will be used during the test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ping\/telnet tests for CFE, CME and ICE exchanges will be completed by TT staff as required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>TT Platform Impact<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><br>We\u2018ve implemented the Mock Mode feature to support mock trading on the TT platform. Documentation on the use of Mock Mode, including proper use and limitations, is available <a href=\"https:\/\/library.tradingtechnologies.com\/trade\/ttp-mock-trading-support.html\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of particular note for the FIA testing:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Log in to <a href=\"https:\/\/mock.trade.tt\/\">mock.trade.tt<\/a> for testing.<\/li><li>Any Setup changes needed for a mock session must be made in Production (e.g., changes to IP and\/or Port to connect to an exchange DR site). When a user clicks Setup while logged in to <a href=\"https:\/\/mock.trade.tt\/\">mock.trade.tt<\/a>, they will be directed to the Production Setup database. It\u2019s important to note that any changes made to Setup specifically for a mock session must be manually reverted after testing is complete if you don\u2019t want to keep them in Production.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>TT Support<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Support during the FIA disaster recovery test will be available as during normal production hours. The simulation period for T7 Release 10.0 is planned to start on September 13. Additional information from the exchange may be found <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurex.com\/ex-en\/support\/initiatives\/t7-release-10-0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this upgrade, Eurex will require that Order Routing System (ORS) providers and users comply with the amended rules and the associated identification obligation that will become effective for Exchange Participants as of 22 November 2021 with T7 Release 10.0. As a result, customers will be conditionally required to provide exchange Member and Trader information on order entry in Tag 2404 \u2018ComplianceText\u2019. Due to the time difference between Malaysian time and Central time, the night trading session activities will begin the business day prior to actual trade date in Malaysian time. The new night trading session will be open for trading Monday &#8211; Thursday. There will be no Friday night trading session. Hours will be 21:00:00 hours to 23:30:00 hours (Malaysia time). This Nasdaq next-generation platform is a solution based on global financial standards, for stable, flexible and high-speed services. The new framework with its powerful core technology and standardized access to Nordic liquidity, will in the coming years be the common technical platform utilized across all Nasdaq&#8217;s U.S. and European markets and asset classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>The migration of equity derivatives to the new trading platform is scheduled for implementation on February 21, 2022.
